Tonight, MTV will be remembering Pedro Zamora – one of the cast members of The Real World San Francisco. As the first openly gay and HIV+ person to come out on national television, Pedro sent the ball rolling that fired up America to fight against the spread of AIDS and embrace homosexuality. However, 15 years later, Pedro sure would be disappointed to learn there are still NO federal laws that protect the LGBT community in the workplace.
