Good Morning You Sexy Beasts! Rawr!!

I have no idea…I’m just in a good mood, don’t mind me!

So, I didn’t post about this yesterday because it was only a few sentences but now that it’s happened I atleast want to mention it. You know we’ve been following the Trayvon murder case, as many have. Yesterday the Sanford Police Chief put in his resignation and formally resigned. Good Right? Well, the city commission wouldn’t accept it. What??

These are the same people that caused him to step down earlier doing the investigation after they had a no confidence vote, so now they turn around and tell him they’re not going to accept his resignation. What the hell?

I think they missed a real opportunity to move past this and past all the negativity that surrounds the case. The chief resigned under his own free will, who are you to tell him he can’t? Sure, there are contracts and technicalities but come on…let’s just put this behind us he clearly didn’t go that great of a job or we wouldn’t be in this situation. Let him go, bring someone new in and start again. This clown show only makes the city and police department look that much worse. It’s no wonder you got crazy people with guns in your neighborhoods killing people.

Anyway, that’s my two cents. I think they really missed a huge opportunity as we all wait for justice to be done.
