I have the luxury of sleeping during the day, but sadly no amount of sleep can change the events of the day. Tonight I awoke to the tragic news of the school shooting in Newtown. As I sat for hours watching the news and reading online my heart is absolutely broken. My deepest and sincerest prayers go to all that have been effected. To the parents and families who lost loved ones, to the classmates who lost a friend. To the men and woman who responded to the calls for help and all those who will be left with mental scares of such a day, my heart breaks with yours. We’ll never have the words for such a senseless and devastating act, but our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. We may not know each other personally but we come together as a people to lift you up and support you in anyway we can. You are loved and cared for and we stand with you.
